Spanish Peaks Veterans Community Living Center, located in Walsenburg, Huerfano County, Colorado, offers a beautiful environment with stunning mountain views and Lathrop State Park directly across the street. We provide long-term care for veterans, their spouses, widows, and Gold Star parents, with 90 beds available for residents. Our focus is on treating everyone with dignity and respect, and we offer a robust schedule of activities, featuring approximately 150 planned events each month. We are committed to serving our residents and their families with the honor and privilege they deserve. Colorado residency is not a requirement for admission. We also collaborate closely with families to identify conditions or disabilities that may significantly reduce the cost of care.
